Wayward Bees!

On June the 9th Ed and I returned to his Westsyde bee yard, which had been emptied of hives several days previous, to find a clump of field bees adhered to the four by four post used as a base for a hive which had been removed. The bees were foraging when the hive was moved, and had somehow managed to survive through intermittent inclement weather for at least a week. New hives were moved into the yard, and it is hoped that the bees managed to drift into them.
